You need to Transfer (not import) the file ending in .tax2024. Don’t be renaming it. Most people say it works just by closing and restarting Turbo Tax.
Jan 29, 2026…my sister called me about transferring 2024 into 2025 on Mac not working. I told her to try opening 2024 in the 2024 program and let it update then save it again. IT WORKED!
