You're right and dont let them gaslight you into thinking that LENDING MONEY for free, somehow, justifies you paying a fee to a third party private company to recover your own money. That's just extortion.
What happens if you DONT pay the fee and taxes? You'll go to jail or have your wages garnished by force or be brought to court. It's a greedy sick country we live in. No other countries with morals or ethics would allow this yet its normalized here as if Turbotax is helping us when they arent.
The govt should take over turbotax like they did TikTok and make it a free service for all. Intuit get call it even for robbing us for years
