@user17700666027 If your only income is from Social Security on a Form SSA-1099 and retirement income on a Form 1099-R, there is no need to upgrade from the Free online edition.
Did you have any other income or did you contribute to an IRA so that you would be eligible for the Saver's Credit (not supported by the Free edition)
You may want to clear your tax return and start over to get rid of the requirement to upgrade.
If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Switch Products on the lower left side of the program screen while working on the 2025 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over
