You enter it from the 1099INT. It will be on 1040 line 2a or 2b.
Enter a 1099-Int under
Federal Taxes or Personal (for Home & Business)
Wages & Income
Interest and Dividends
Interest on 1099INT - Click the Start, Revisit Or Update button
The interest will probably go in box 3 on the 1099.
