If you are on MS Windows, and attached to an MS-OneDrive account, make sure that OneDrive is open to look there. I know that when I started up OneDrive, the default was to move files off your computer if not used within 30 Days.....I re-set that to always keep files on my computer, and only back-up copies of those files to OneDrive.
