NO.  If you only get ssi or a SSA-1099 for SSDI or Social Security it is not taxable and you don't need to file a return.  And you need taxable income to qualify for any credits.  You would have to file if you get a  1095A for Marketplace health insurance.  Or need to file to get back any tax withholding taken out of  your SS.
