Copy the 2024 tax data file from the flash drive to the hard drive of the new computer.
On the computer with the 2024 TurboTax software installed, start the TurboTax program. Click on the File menu at the top left of the TurboTax desktop program. Click on Open Tax Return. Browse to the location where you copied the 2024 tax data file and click on the file to open the tax return.
