Get your taxes done using TurboTax

This problem still exists in 2025, specifically for Nokia. Apparently, because Nokia is incorporated in Finland, the 1099R shows the TIN with all zeroes, which TurboTax will not accept. Does anyone know if leaving the field blank will work this year?

The Payers TIN on a Form 1099-DIV or a Form 1099-INT is not required for e-filing the tax return.  If the program gives an error then click on the button to access the form and then leave it as is and Continue.  Then do not run Smart Check again.
