You are not required to get a Credit Karma card. You can choose any bank account that you have for your direct deposit. You need your bank's routing number and your account number.
You have to go to Step 2 in the FILE section.

You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.
