What you purchased from Costco was the 2024 TurboTax desktop edition to be installed on your personal computer. So if you install the 2024 TurboTax desktop edition on the same computer as the 2023 desktop edition, you will be able to transfer the 2023 tax data file to the 2024 tax return.
