Yes, you can e-file your 2024 tax return with the correct numbers as though you had filed the 2023 correctly. This would not cause it to reject. It should be accepted with the correct numbers. It is not necessary to wait on the 2024 return until your amended 2023 is completed.
Once the 2023 return is amended file it and at some point it will be reconciled with your 2024 return but not quickly.
