Only the Free Edition is free. Looks like you are in Deluxe. There is a fee for federal and a separate fee for state. You can pay the fees with a credit card. But if you want the fees deducted from your refund there is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California) . So try to pay with a credit card.
