You need to look at your federal tax return, Form 1040. The taxable amount from your pension in box 2a of the Form 1099-R flows to the Form 1040 Line 5b. The federal taxes withheld in box 4 of the Form1099-R flow to the Form 1040 Line 25b.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
