"IND-032-04: The spouse's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year doesn't match IRS records."

i.e., it's an either/or situation.  So her rejection is more likely due to AGI--not a prior-year 5 digit PIN, which is no longer needed by most people.  Most people verify their returns with prior-year AGI.   Many people don't even save their 5-digit signing PIN from last year.   The signing screen allows one to enter a new 5-digit PIN every year, if desired.

If you are filing a joint return, then you both have the same 2023 AGI; i.e., the total amount.  Do not divide it.   If you already tried using the same 2023 AGI for both of you and it rejected, then for her try using an AGI of 0.   That sometimes corrects it if the IRS database is messed up.

FAQ:   How do I fix e-file reject IND-031-04 or IND-032-04?
