Sorry you need to buy a new program each year. For 2024 you can either use the Online web version or buy the Desktop download. Sounds like you used the Desktop program last year?

And what did you mean " the only option available to me in the online interface...." What is the online interface? The Desktop program is only on your computer, there is no online interface.
