Get your taxes done using TurboTax

To upload (auto-fill) your forms W-2 into TurboTax you can use the instructions below.

If you are using TurboTax Online  you can:

1. Sign into your return
2. Click on" Pick up where you left off"
3. Click on "Search" at the top right of your screen
4. In the search box, type "W-2"
5. Click on "Jump to W-2"               (See screenshots below for additional guidance)
6. Click on "Add a W-2" 
7. On the next screen you will be asked to enter your employer's ID from your W-2, enter it, and "Continue"  
8. On the next screen you can choose to upload your W-2 by clicking on "Upload it from my computer"  
9. On the next screens you will be prompted to upload your W-2 information
10. Answer all questions on the follow-up screens

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:

1. Open or continue your return
2. Click "Search" at the top right of your screen
3. In the search box, type "W-2"
4. Click on "Jump to W-2"               (See screenshots below for additional guidance)
5. Your screen will say "We'll start with your W-2", click the box "Work on my W-2"
6. Your screen will say "Let's Start With a Bit of Info From Your W-2" , enter your Employer ID from Box b of your W-2"
7. Click on "Continue"
8. You can select to upload your W-2 or "Type it myself"
9. On the next screen you can choose to upload your W-2 by clicking on "Upload it from my computer"  
10. If you selected "Upload it from my computer" you will be prompted to do so
11. Answer all follow-up screens
