Here's more steps you can try:

 

Run a virus scan if you haven't done so recently. If no viruses are found, try each of these steps to see if they resolve this error.

  1. Close any programs that are running.
  2. Run Windows Update.
  3. Temporarily disconnect from the internet.
  4. Temporarily disable virus-protection and other security software.
  5. Install TurboTax again.
  6. You can also try installing in Selective Startup Mode.
