Here's more steps you can try:
Run a virus scan if you haven't done so recently. If no viruses are found, try each of these steps to see if they resolve this error.
- Close any programs that are running.
- Run Windows Update.
- Temporarily disconnect from the internet.
- Temporarily disable virus-protection and other security software.
- Install TurboTax again.
- You can also try installing in Selective Startup Mode.
