Get your taxes done using TurboTax
It depends on a couple of things.
How are you paid? Do you live with her full time and not have another home?
If you are being paid under a Medicaid Waiver program, then in order to take a tax break and exclude the Medicaid Waiver payments, you must live with the person in their home full-time and not have another home. Click this link for How do I enter my tax-exempt Medicaid waiver payments from IHSS in TurboTax?
If you are being paid by your boyfriend and not through a Waiver program or you do not live with the child full-time, then no, there would not be a tax break.
