NO.    For a number of reasons---but we can start with the fact that he did not live with you for the whole year in 2024.   A BF who did not live with you for the whole year cannot be claimed as your dependent.   And.....we can go further....where did you two live?  With your parent(s)?   Who really paid for over half of BF's support all year?   Are you also a teenager?   

 

BF's mom can likely claim him as a dependent if she is filing a tax return.   Even if she does not file a return, BF can file his own tax return to seek a refund of tax withheld from his paychecks.   On his own return he needs to say that he can be claimed as someone else's dependent.   Saying that will not affect the amount of his refund.
