I noticed the most recent version of the TTX installation program (downloaded yesterday, 3 Jan 2025, directly from TTX).......it automatically installed the C++ version it needed on both of my Windows computers (Desktop & laptop) as a part of the installation.
So perhaps they realized the issue, and added it to their installation setup.
Of course, if you happen to be working with an older TTX installation file, it might not be in it
