Get your taxes done using TurboTax

1)  Many forms are not ready in the software for final filing.....some may be ready 9 January and most of the rest on 16 January..like Schedule D, or Schedule A for itemized deductions, and a lot more....even the IRS has a number of forms that are Draft Copy only at this point in time.

2)...some that are temporarily available will also have "Do Not File" permanently printed on them if you print them out....and the IRS probably won't accept them.

3)  Calculations using forms that are not ready may not calculate properly with the correct 2024 tax rules.

The software for 2024 is simply not finished sufficiently for preparing an accurate tax return for anything but a simple W-2 only filing.....and it never is this early in the tax filing year......mid-late January is more normal for most situations.

Not sure what the Mortgage lender expects you to do.

....Not sure any Software provider has complete 2024 forms ready for use yet
