I manage to import the 1099's from Schwab, in the sense that all confirmations are done and the web-browser says that the connection was successful and for me to go back to TurboTax. Then, on Turbotax, a summary of the information is available, and I press import. Then, Turbo Tax does nothing and crashes.
I manage to import from other brokerage but not from Schwab. I am on PC windows 10 using TurboTax the desktop version. I also saw this post:

I did the manual update, but it did not help. I also saw other contributors in the forum saying they could not link to Schwab. I managed to do it, but then TurboTax itself crashed.
Please help, I am still on the deadlines (expat deadline extension is Oct 15 but time is running out). Thanks,
