When you were installing the 2023 TurboTax desktop software you had to log onto your TurboTax account to activate the license code. Once that was completed there is no need to log onto the account again. Nor do you need to create a TurboTax account for your daughter.
You can create, complete and file as many tax returns as needed with the desktop editions once the software license has been activated.
