Get your taxes done using TurboTax
So very sorry for your loss.
To file in TurboTax using the deceased person's TurboTax Account you would have to log into that account using the exact same user ID that was used to create the account.
If you’re having trouble signing in to the Intuit Account to access TurboTax, there is help you get in. If you lost or forgot your user ID or password or if you're locked out of your account, or recover your account if you can’t get a verification code. Read further to learn other sign-in tips and troubleshooting.
If you are unable to recover the account credentials to log in you may have to enter the deceased person's final return using a copy of their prior year's tax return. See the link below for obtaining a copy of a prior year's tax return from the IRS.
When there is no executor or administrator, whoever is responsible for filing the return should sign the return and note that they are signing "on behalf of the decedent." If a joint return is filed by the surviving spouse alone, they should sign the return and write "filing as surviving spouse" in the space for the other spouse's signature.
The IRS will allow tax returns for deceased taxpayers (also called decedent returns) to be e-filed. Before you file a decedent return, make sure the Social Security Administration has been notified of the taxpayer's death.
