Have you updated your TurboTax desktop program to the latest release? The Form 5695 for tax year 2023 was updated on 02/08.
Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen. Click on Check for Updates
If your tax liability on Form 1040 Line 18 is zero then the credit will not be used and is not carried forward to the next tax year.
You can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
