If you can open your 2022 return in the 2022 program you have the .tax2022 file. If you do File-Save As you can give it a name you can find. Do not save as a pdf file. The .tax2022 file should be in your Documents in a Turbo Tax folder. Or search your computer for all files ending in .tax or .tax2022.
Don't try to transfer the pdf. You need to transfer from the .tax2022 file. Start a new 2023 return (File-New). If it doesn't find your .tax2022 files you can click on Browse to go to where it is.
What version are you using? And Windows or Mac? I assume you are using the Desktop program?
