In 2022 6A showed the net benefits after removing premiums.
I have double checked my 2023 entries and am sure I put in exactly what TT wanted.
Later tonight I am going to reopen my 2022 return and see if I made a mistake there.
On a Form 1040 or a Form 1040-SR for tax years 2020 thru 2023, the amount that is entered on Line 6a for the Social Security benefits received is the exact same amount that you entered from box 5 of the SSA-1099
