I e-filed both Federal and MN State returns on 1/29/2024, on the day of the opening of the filing season. I used TurboTax Deluxe Desktop (download). To my surprise, this is the first time my federal return was accepted in 27 minutes and my MN State return was accepted in about 6 hours. I even had form 1116 Foreign Tax credit.
It is the first time in the last 15 years this has happened. I think TurboTax has finally reacted to its competition to the IRS Direct file seriously.
