Get your taxes done using TurboTax

First----do you receive Social Security----that is not the same thing as SSI---so we need to be clear.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS AND SSI?

https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/text-over-ussi.htm

If you receive Social Security you get a SSA1099 in January.   If you get SSI you do not get any document for that.

If you are receiving a pension they send you a 1099R for that.

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
