There is no version called the "Ex-Pat" version. All of the CD/download software versions have the same forms and schedules. The big difference between Basic and Deluxe or higher is that Basic does not include software to prepare a state return---which you do not need since you do not have a state return to prepare. Basic should meet your needs.
