But...if you need to file a state too, do not buy TTX Basic since it doesn't include any state software as a part of the purchase.
And if you buy Deluxe from someone other than directly from TTX (like from Amazon), make sure it indicates "Intuit TurboTax Deluxe 2021, Federal and State Tax Return" .......since some Deluxe editions do not contain the free state (used primarily by people living in states without an income tax)
