If you have already filed the 2022 tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS, the bank account for direct deposit or direct debit cannot be changed.
Otherwise you can change the bank account in the File section of the program in Step 2 if the tax return has been rejected by the IRS or you have not yet filed the 2022 tax return.
