"Turobtax incorrectly file my refund"
TurboTax provides do-it-yourself tax software for you to prepare your own tax return and file it by e-filing it or filing it by mail. What went wrong? Was your e-file rejected---and you did not realize it? Or did you misunderstand the options for how to pay your tax due? The user enters information into the software program; TurboTax cannot/does not check outside sources, so if you entered something incorrectly or left out some income, etc., that is a user error.
And......there were a LOT of user errors made on 2020 and 2021 tax returns by users who were confused by the recovery rebate credit and/or the child tax credit. Many of those errors resulted in reduced refunds or in owing tax due.
Tell us more about the letter you received from the IRS and we may be able to help you understand what went wrong and why you owe the IRS. Do not post any personal information here like your email, SSN, etc.
