not having NY software, I can't see the forms, though I can guess at the issue.
The last time I filed in NY was 2019, I could possibly see if my desktop 2019 program will still open so I can look at the worksheet but that won't show me this person's error. Sometimes the error message is a little confused, or maybe there is a missing zero, hidden decimal point, or something else. The customer might have to contact customer service and do a screen share.
