If you have not paid for TurboTax Deluxe or registered the account then you can downgrade by using the Clear & Start Over option.
- With TurboTax open select tax tools in the left-hand panel.
- Then select Clear & Start Over.
- Select yes when asked are you sure you want to clear your return.
BEFORE YOU FILE: On the side bar, click on tax tools, there will be 2 options, "Switch to Free Edition" or Clear & Start Over".
