Thanks. I had to cancel the amended return I began earlier to get here but I think this is the solution. I was able to get to the e-file section and click through to the final step without filing.
I still need to input some K-1/K-3 partnership information when available in August (the whole reason for the extension), but this appears to get me where I need to be to E-File. Thank @VolvoGirl !! Very much appreciated.
