Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Hello,

The Residential Clean Energy Credit covers the the costs of new, qualified clean energy property.  This credit is non refundable, so it will be applied to the taxes you owe. If you have no tax liability (refund) then it will carry forward to be used in future years. The credit is 30% of cost including installation. Some states also offer credits and other rebates. Here is a good link for federal energy credits.
