Get your taxes done using TurboTax

@adibenedetto081 Not sure I understand what you are hoping to accomplish by showing them you could not e-file.   If your e-file was rejected, you could have printed, signed and mailed the return instead.   That is done quite commonly.    If you did not do that and you were going to get a refund, you have now forfeited the refund.  But if you owed tax due for that one, you still have to pay, and now the IRS will charge you a late filing penalty and interest.   If you did not file----print, sign and mail it asap.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
