You will meet the substantial presence test in 2023 but it will not be before 18 Apr 2023. You will need to put in an extension to get to the 183 day mark. You can't file that 2022 resident return until you meet the substantial presence mark. Also, here is the link with information you need to include in your first-year choice statement.
You will have 31 days in 2022 and 75% of days in 2022 beginning with HB1 status.
