The online fee is for the USE of the program to complete a return that can be filed even if you mail it in. Payment of the online fees are not refundable one paid. The program was free up to the point you wanted to see the entire return with all the worksheets ...sort of like going to the grocery store ... everything is free to look at but if you open a bag of chips you have to pay for them.
The fact that you used a different service is immaterial to the standing rule that the online fees once paid are non refundable.
