If you were in Thailand throughout 2022, did you receive a W2 from a US employer or a similar form from an employer in Thailand?
If you received a form from an employer in Thailand, you would not enter it in the W2 section. Instead you would enter it as Foreign Earned Income by selecting the following:
- Income
- Show more next to Less Common Income
- Start next to Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion
- Walk through the steps of entering the income you earned in Thailand.
