Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I’m assuming you’re talking about the “Adjusted Gross Income” that is entered in the “filing” section of our program (and not your actual AGI for this year). If so, the amount from line 11 of that joint return you filed with your husband last year is what we want. (And since it’s used just for identification and security purposes, the fact that you had no income isn’t relevant.)

Your second question is a little more difficult, Minatou91! Not to pass the buck, but once your return was transmitted through our system to the IRS, everything is temporarily behind the curtains. They won’t share any info regarding the processing that’s taking place until they send an e-mail back through our system (to you) saying the return has been accepted or rejected.

But since it’s February 8th, I would definitely not be alarmed. Everybody is filing now, and little delays are typical. If you entered the wrong AGI, you’ll be able to fix it without much of a headache. And if you’re waiting for a much-needed refund, well, that’s a different story of course. But hopefully it happens ASAP! Thanks @minatou91.
