When a rejection is received, it means that the IRS or state has sent the return back for a correction to be made.  The rejection is often as simple as a mistyped number that does not match the IRS or state records.

If your IRS and State returns were rejected, a rejection code would be provided.  Since we do not have access to your return, we will need to have the rejection code provided to assist.

Here is a link to help you locate where the rejection code would be; How do I fix a rejected return?
