You are correct. Use the "Other Category" in the box 14 dropdown to complete entering the Healthcare Worker Bonus in your W2 section.
- Then in the NY State interview "Update" the "Changes to Federal Income" section
- Scroll down to the Wage and retirement adjustment section
- "Start/Update" the "Healthcare... worker bonus" topic
- There you can enter the amount from box 14 on your W2 to exclude it from NY state and local taxes
