Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I’m assuming you’ve already transmitted the e-file, and received an e-mail from TurboTax about the IRS rejecting it, and that you actually have an IP PIN with them, because you requested one or there was an incident involving your account. (Otherwise, it is possible to accidentally enter a number in the Identity Protection PIN section of “Other Tax Situations,” and the solution might be to return there and check “No, I don’t have an IP PIN”…).
If that’s the case, here’s the IRS info about how to retrieve your Identity Protection PIN. There are some hoops to jump through, and they’re very protective of personal info (so the system is picky), but hopefully you’ll be able to do it online (there’s an 800-908-4490 number for plan-B). The alternative for filing anytime soon is to mail it in, so I hope this goes smoothly for you, @7db624728dc7, especially if you’re counting on a refund soon!
