I looked at Schedule A, then chose to "override" the standard deduction option, in favor of itemization.  The numbers below are complete, accurate, and reflect the $10,000 cap you mentioned in your first reply.

Bottom line? The $25,900 standard deduction beats my itemized deduction total by $277.
