Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I haven't paid yet but i'm getting the same problem you are. Now i'm reluctant to restart from scratch.... eagerly awaiting an answer to yours and my problem. Turbo Tax has gotten increasingly more difficult to use each year....
EDIT : I WENT AHEAD AND DECIDED TO REDO THE WHOLE THING AND IT WORKED. IT WAS HUNG UP ON THIS INPUT VALUE FOR THE OP'S PROBLEM THAT WE HAVE ALL HAD AND AT LEAST FOR ME, GOING TO TAX TOOLS AND DELETING THE FORMS WAS NOT POSSIBLE SINCE THEY WEREN'T THERE. I WENT TO: MENU (TOP LEFT) --> TAX TOOLS (ALL THE WAY AT THE BOTTOM) ---> TOOLS --> CLEAR AND START OVER
PUT EVERYTHING BACK IN AND WAS VERY CAREFUL TO HIT "NO" to the question that is causing us all problems as it is written poorly and is only applicable to those that took money from their retirement accounts due to covid or something like that.
This wasn't applicable to me, but just in case it may work for someone, @DoninGA posted this response a few above mine, but here is how to delete the forms manually if that may work for you:
Try this -
If you are using the TurboTax online editions see if a Form 8915 or Form 4684 is included with your tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen
Click on Tools
Click on Delete a form
Delete the Form 8915 and/or Form 4684
If using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions, click on Forms
When in forms mode review the forms, schedules and worksheets on the left side of the Forms mode screen.
Click on the form if listed to open and delete the form by clicking on Delete Form button at the bottom of the opened form
