Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Because you cannot enter a foreign phone number in TurboTax, Tax Expert Alumni @KarenJ says recommends using a friend's phone number. Make sure you get their permission.
You can leave the field blank or you can enter the phone number of a relative or friend in the U.S., or a "dummy number" (800-555-1212). This will allow you to complete your return, and the IRS will identify your entry as a placeholder number — if they have questions, they will mail them to you. The IRS does not call taxpayers anyway.
Please note that you will need a US credit card with a US billing address to pay for TurboTax.
Tax Expert @HeatherPLO says you might try to disable the Two Factor Identification instead of using a dummy number so you won't receive codes on your phone. Please see the Help Article here for more instructions on how to do this.
