The only way to file a 2021 return now is by mail. E-filing is permanently closed for 2021 returns. You have to print them, sign and date them in ink, and mail them in.
You do not say why the returns were rejected. If it was for the very common reason of AGI, that no longer matters at all since you only needed AGI to e-file, and e-filing is not possible. Do you know why the returns were rejected? What are you planning to fix on them?
