If this is all going on the Federal return Sch A then it makes no difference. If makes a difference on the state return you should be able to adjust things when you do the state interview. If the total needs to be split up on different forms like the Sch E & Sch A then deleting the entry and making seprate entries in the correct places will be what needs to be done.
